Equal pay, race and gender bias, access to jobs, and sexual harassment are just some of the many issues women face in the workplace. Yet women remain underrepresented at every level in corporate America, despite earning more college degrees than men for 30 years and counting (McKinsey). What can L&D do to address this problem? What amount of responsibility does the training department have in dealing with these issues? Do we have blind spots when it comes to diversity — so we can’t solve problems that we don’t see or understand clearly?
